Hello everyone, I have been a long time for not updating my blog since 2009. Well, where have I been or what was I doing? Hmmm......I think future is much more important. The past was over. I need to step forward and so do you!!!

Now, I'm doing another e-commerce with my best friend, Euris to sell kid's apparels. Last time I sold ladies' apparels and now change to kid's apparels. Time to invest in kid's stuff because we are getting old and will marry soon so will focus on our new baby. Don't you agree with me? :-)

Hopefully can get more support from all mummies. EziMum is a blog where you can buy kid's apparels with a mouse click. It's a new e-commerce blog and still need room to grow. Currently, I'm in Blenheim, New Zealand and hardly to access internet. Normally will go to library of Blenheim to do some update and sourcing because can get free internet usage. :-P

This is my new career and new start in New Zealand. Hope everything is going smoothly though Gods always wants me to have some new challenges.

Feel sorry for not being updated my blog such a long long time. oops.....i'm not a daily blogger anymore.

Recently, I've changed my job and it seems like to change my life tooooooooo.........

Learning new things and it's quite challenging for the time being. Why am I saying like this?

erm.........may be i'm having adaptation period towards my job.......study.........exam........ bla bla bla......

Besides, facing my health problem, very headache and a bit upset when receiving the "bad" news. Too many "bad" things happened in this year.......even my career, study, exam, family affairs.........

Feel tired and lost for a while.........sometimes........ I really don't wanna bother all those things.

But somehow, I can't avoid it to be happened in my life??? Sometimes feel like wanna

In fact, I'm not dared to undergo it. I just pretend that it's fine and not a big deal. I convince myself that I can overcome but mentally, it wasn't. If my health really turns to "worse", what will happen to the next? Really can't imagine it...........

I will cry when I'm alone.......thinking that...... Will it be my life ended in this way? ...... or Just begin another new journey for me again? Am I too pessimistic? ....... May be thinking too much....... May be it's a test for me..... So, I can grow stronger and tougher........

Where there's a will, there's a way......... I can DO it........to get rid of those "bad" things.........

Now I'm at Penang. Surprise!!!!

Why suddenly at Penang? Because of my fatty.

He supposed to drop me at Ipoh, my hometown, but he was rushing for his appointment and wanted to stay a night at Penang.

Besides, we will go on board on tomorrow night. Guess what? Secret!!!

oops.....yet to post my travel photo for my last Penang trip with my angels on last month. erm....I will post it later. We went to few places on that time. Now, I will be going to Queensbay Mall to try on the "shit bowl". Such a special topic restaurant in Malaysia. Wait for me yo!!!....

Today will be Chit Mun's memorable day because he is getting married by today. It's time for him to end his bachelor's life. He is so lucky that he found his life partner and she is the only one in his heart. Both of them has been together for 4 years. It's not an easy way to have such a long term relationship with each other.

Luckily, Chit Mun won't mind about my existence. We enjoyed our dinner at Italiannese, The Curve. The food was enough for 2 persons to share for it. We almost couldn't finish our food. This dinner about RM400++ for 9 persons.

Steamboat Dinner

It's been quite a long time that we did not meet each other after the Port Dickson Trip in November 2007. They are my coursemates when I studied in TARC.

I received a SMS from Wee Mien on last Saturday morning. At the same time, I was trying to drink Herbalife Formula 3 Blended Soy and Whey Protection Powder mixed with Formula 1 Nutritious Mixed Soy Powder Drink as my breakfast and lunch and Herbalife Shape Works Tea Mix - Lemon & Hibiscus. I was not feeling on that day so I might not turn up and replied a message to her that I will confirm it later.

Finally, I've made it and Wee Mien came to fetch me though I was having a little bit stomach-ache. So, I did not eat much at that night.

We were really having fun together especially Wee Mien and Kam. Both of them kept talking with each other happily and forgot about us. We just laughed at them about this.

This restaurant is specialized in buffet steamboat, Shabu-shabu. You can eat whatever you want. Just sitting down and take the food from conveyer-belt. Simple and nice shabu-shabu.

The soup is quite simple and it is nothing special. But, the environment is nice and comfortable. It's not like those conventional steamboat shop. You can slowly enjoy your food till full. The food is fresh and varieties.

All athletes had a great performance in Olympic.

Yesterday, I was so upset on the result from archery game. Our team was so close to bid on the Italy team and qualified for the quarter final. Our team had 213 score vs Italy team 218 score. Anyway, it was such a impressive game for me as our team did a good job in semi quarter final. This game was dominated by Korea team because they got 2 gold in this game from female and male team.

Today, I will be waiting for badminton game show. I wish they could get a fabulous result.

Besides, congratulations to South East Asia Countries are Thailand Vietnam, and Indonesia. What a great job to their athletes!!! Hooray......

These 2 days were quite busy at watching Olympic Game.

Congratulations to those gold medallists!!! Well done!!! Good job!!!

For those contestants who did not win any metal, keep it up!!! The gold medal is waiting for them.

These 2 days, I've watched artistic gymnastic, basketball, football, archery, swimming, weightlifting, beach volleyball, equestrian.....couldn't remember.....what else.

I was impressed on the archery because Korea Female team won the gold medal from China in final section. Both of their marks were so close at first but Korea team was seemed like much more confidence than Chinese team. They almost scored 10 points on each shot. It was fantastic. Anyway, both teams were great.

I will be waiting for Malaysian male team in this game because their coach is Korean; who is able to speak Malay to communicate with our contestants. It is so amazing and surprising.

No matter from archery, badminton, or diving, I'm still waiting for good news from Malaysian athletes. Let's wait for it.

One World One Dream

Year 2008 Month 08 Day 08 Time 8:08pm, Opening Ceremony of Olympic started in Beijing National Stadium, Bird's Nest, China.

I was watching it just now. erm.....a bit boring to watch though it was such a grand opening and world event. Anyway, I've known some of the countries that I was not familiar at all. Like Oman, Mali, Palau and etc. It's time to get to know the world.

I love watching gymnastic and swimming. I wish I could be on of our nation swimmer like Leong Mun Yee, (梁敏仪) because our name is same. Our name is same, our age is same but our destiny is different. sigh.......

Lastly, I wish our athletes can win some medals in this world happening sport event.

Rice Terraces

Mr. Rocky brought us to see unique plantation at Tegallalang village after visited Gunung Kawi Sebatu. It is one of the attraction in Bali.

At first, I thought it was normal plantation. It is totally different from our local rice fields. I was impressed by this fascinated rice terraces.

After visited volcano, we went to Gunung Kawi; which is located at Sebatu Village, Tegallalang. We're having a bad day because it was raining heavily when we reached there. But, fatty was happy to enjoy it.

Entrance fee Rp. 6,000 per pax, sarong and sash are provided. If you wear short pants, you have to wear sarong instead of sash. The officer asked us to get 2 pieces of sash.

Short introduction about Gunung Kawi. There are 2 Gunung Kawi found in Bali. The sacred 11th Century of Bali's "valley of the kings" carved out on the brink of rock near the Pakerisan river gorge. Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple located is located northwest of Sebatu.

Gunung Kawi Sebatu is known as more peaceful water spring temple than Tirta Empul temple in Tampaksiring. Several water fountain complexes within and outside the temple make the spot popular as bathing place by the villagers.

We just stayed about 15 mins at there due to heavy raining. So, we just simply visited around the compound and took few photos.

FaRewEll Dinner

My farewell dinner was held at Thai Restaurant, Sungai Buloh; which served halal food. It was the last moment to share with my colleagues.

This was the only place; where we could go because we have Muslim colleagues. It was very difficult to find a halal restaurant at around Kg. Baru Subang or Taman Subang Perdana.

Every time our office dinner will go to this restaurant. The food is tasty and delicious but a bit expensive. There is a mini farm at backyard. The workers are from Thailand, even the owner. The owner is a Muslim Thai person. So, the veges are very fresh and organic. I think so...but I confirmed that the veges are very fresh and crunchy....esp Kai Lan.....

在職場不做徒勞無功的事記得以前有位同事離職前多拉了幾個人走，以為會對公司的業務造成影響，經我觀察的結果做了結論：完全沒有影響，缺人找人，頂多資深員工辛苦點，對公司來說，「所有員工在職時都很重要，離職後都不重要」，沒有一個員工是非留不可的，這似乎就是職場常態近20年以來，我長時間在美台兩地以理財專家的立埸談理財，幫助客戶及社會大眾做好理財。我常強調做好理財的目的是錢盡其用，讓錢發揮最大的效用，一個相關的重要原則就是凡事講究划算。我覺得以這樣的現實觀點來看工作，和我倡議的『回到蠻荒』觀點倒是有相通的地方，那就是不做徒勞無功的事，或沒有成果的事。蠻荒的動物都能秉持這樣的原則工作。所以依現實的原則看工作，現代人工作的目的應該只是為了能賺錢，除此以外無他。以下是探討這類觀點的專家所提供的一些工作原則，不妨做為參考：

原則 1：工作真的只是一份工作 [A job is just a job]
不要期待工作與生活能兼顧，事實上也沒幾個人能將工作與生活成功的整合起來，工作並不是生活，我們工作是為了要過生活，或保有自己所喜歡的生活。想想看，你一天或一個禮拜能有多少時間和家人相處，或和親朋好友去做一些你喜歡做的事，就可以知道要兼顧工作與生活是不可能的。工作只是工作，目的是為了賺錢。

原則 2 ：不要害怕換工作 [don't afraid to change]
工作既是為了賺錢，只要可能賺更多錢，或做起來更愉快、更有滿足慼，何妨就換工作？而且，以這樣的原則換工作，收入當然會越換越多，跳槽可能也會變得稀鬆平常。只要每次工作時都全力以赴，有稱職的表現，對雇主和業界都能交代，應該隨時可以找到下一個工作的機會。

原則 3：一鳥在手勝過十鳥在林 ["a bird in hand is better than ten birds in woods"]
很多公司都聲稱他們有優渥的福利制度，包括退休金計劃。可是不斷有事實告訴我們，越來越多的人在屆滿退休之前就失去工作了。所以爭取眼前的福利可能更實際，比較值得期待，例如包括健康醫療保障在內的團體保險、托嬰照顧、親職休假、績效獎金的分發，增加加班費或年終獎金等等。

原則 4：謀生本事不厭其多 [Be skillfull]
新世紀的工作與收入可能會變得不穩定，產業的興衰或輪替也會變得快速無比，在同一家企業內辛苦一輩子可能會以失業收場。所以橫向拓展各方面的技能，會比縱向的在企業的組織內向上攀爬追求位高權重還要實際。其實現在已有不少企業也『學會』了一些聰明的技巧，對授予好聽的高階職位並不吝惜，可以讓你擁有耀眼的頭銜，但對薪資增加並沒有多大幫助。與其追求這種虛名，不如讓自己能具備十八般武藝可以多方面賺錢，隨時跳槽。

原則 5 ：做好份內工作就回家去 [Done your job n go home]
再提醒你，工作只是工作，公司少了你一個人的工作，照樣可以運轉下去。踏實的學習你的工作所該具備的技能，努力做好你的工作，但不要奢望你可以憑一己之力多為公司創造多少業績或產能。不要因此耗掉你大量的私人時間，讓自己從生活中抽離出來。記住，做好自己份內的工作，然後回家去。

原則 6：遠離辦公室政治 [Away from Office politic]
你工作的目的是為賺取合理的收入，而不是追求虛名與權位，所以不用在心思在辦公室政治上。當紅炸子雞可能因改朝換代而去職走路，被冰凍的失志衰老也可能鹹魚翻身。與其耗費時間介入這些無實際意義的辦公室鬥爭，不如多花時間在自己的家庭。

Maybank Treats Fair was held at Mid Valley Exhibition Center from 31th July till 3rd August 2008.

I supposed to be participated in this event. forget about it.....

As a visitor went over there to have a look and wanted to change my Maybank bankard to the latest visa debit card. At first, I thought it's free. Guess what? You need to pay for RM12 as replacement card. gosh.....better cancelled to change my card as it's still can use for the time being.

I think Maybank should give us F.O.C on switching this brand new debit card. erm.....may be Maybank has a huge base card members, can't afford it.

If you are Maybank credit card holder, please go there to look around. May be you can redeem some lovely gifts back to your home.

I've resigned.....lastly......now, it's time to set a new goal!!! ganbate!!! a jak a jak fighting!!! my e-biz.......

25th July 2008 was my last day at my previous company. Ended up my 2 years service at there......

May be it's time for me to take a short rest as I'm lost in my career path. Sounds funny, right? I do not have any idea why I turn to this weird attitude. yeah.....one of the reasons were my ex-boss. He is fussy boss than my previous bosses. Sometimes, he was so ridiculous and insane. Sometimes, he was so kind and.....I couldn't utter any good word to talk about him. Anyway, I was very disappointed.

I was the only sales & marketing personnel in this company. I've given so much effort to build up my career on it like searching for a new channel to promote our products and giving idea for e-commerce. Feeling suck when developing an e-commerce website. Felt regret to recommend my fatty's friend, Weng, to build up this website for him. We've been arguing for this as my boss couldn't confirm and I had to ask for permission to do such thing before I told him.

The boss hold his payment and said that whether I got commission. wth.....omg.....could you believe this??? What kind of boss like??? I swear.....I didn't take any commission from my friend. I was shocked to hear this message from my friend and my friend was going to cry because he was so sad to hear this and accuse me in a such way. This incident happened before CNY 2008.

Fed up. Fury. urghhh........feeling down on that night and after all. I think that my management and I couldn't build up any trust anymore between each other since such a boss could utter this kind of word. Feeling hurt and suck. "Does she get any commission from you"....

What's next? He pulled me out from sales & marketing and asked me to concentrate on e-store. That's mean......I will always base in office. It started in May. I've been sitting office about 2 months. Should I say thank you to him? If not, I won't start blogging again when I stopped blogging in 2006. It's been 2 years that I didn't update my blog. So, I started a new blog again as well as my domain. erm....should I apologize to him? never mind, it's over.

From surfing net, I found out about Google Adwords; which is pay per click advertising. Besides, I found out that some of bloggers can earn money from this kind of PPC advertising as well as pay per post. Whatever you post your reviews about product or service on your blog, you will get your paid from posting. Sounds like very interesting but I'm still exploring on it. haha......

At first, I thought Google Adwords mainly target for advertisers and I did not know that owner of a website can earn extra income by placing ads on a webpage. It's cool.....and very easy to do such setting. I'm trying for it and it seems like taking sometime to build up my own traffic. Is it Impossible Mission?

Actually, I love meeting up with people rather than sitting in office. I will get sick especially my buttock. haha.......Handling 2 projects at one time: blogging and managing e-store. But, I totally couldn't bear with it so.......gave my big envelope to my fussy bosses. May be it is his wish.

And now, it's time for me to start e-store for my own. I have to manage it within One month before to start my e-biz. Have to start from zero and learn from zero. I can do it........must take action.....sigh....headache....have to study an extremely thick e-book. gosh........!!!

We couldn't turn up at Stadium Shah Alam to watch this match because fatty was too busy at his work on that day. So, we've lost this golden opportunity to meet his favourite players and I couldn't watch handsome guys......

Results was Malaysia 0 - 2 Chelsea. Malaysia team still has room to be improved. Cheers......

Previously, I've bought an investment insurance but a bit regret to buy this insurance. Because it did not cover much on my medical. I found out when I met an accident. Really a bit disappointed. The agent explained me that my medical only cover RM20k for whole life.

oh...no.....It does not enough at all to cover my life. So, I decided to sign up another premium to cover my medical expenses.

For saving insurance, it's not recommended to sign up because you can buy fund from any banks or stocks like mutual fund or share to save more money or do some investment. It does not mean that you must have RM1k or RM10k to do such investment. In fact, you can invest with minimum RM200 for first time purchase. It depends on transactions details.

If you can afford to buy an insurance, please keep it for rainy day. Don't wait too late.

Arrival in Penang

We arrived in Penang around 10:30am. We waited Jeffery at USM, main campus. We took few photos while we were waiting for Jeffery and Khai. All of us were too excited to start our journey. I think this was first time for all of us to go travelling together. They were Chin Heng's Babe, Aerine's Dear, Pik Guan, Euris, Chee Mun, Eve, Hui Shin, Tart, Fatty and I. wow.....a group of 10 persons.

For this Penang trip, unfortunatly we met an accident while we were playing game at the beach, Batu Ferringi after celebrated Uncle Jeff & Pik Guan's belated birthday. Euris twisted her leg when she tried to hit Chee Mun. Her leg was dislocated.

Her hero, Uncle Jeff quickly seeked for assistance from Bay View Hotel. They were willing to help us and brought wheel chair to carry Euris. Appreciated for their help as we were prohibited to enter their hotel at first. Thank, God. They were so kind. May be Euris must treat him a meal or consider to be his GF.

Euris was so brave because she didn't cry at that moment. If I were her, I'll cry because I couldn't bear any pain. I really couldn't imagine that Euris could bear with it. All of us accompanied her to general hospital excluded fatty. Because he was not feeling well once we stopped the game. At last, he turned up in hospital and he explained that someone fetched him to go over there without any charges. I couldn't believe it. (@___@)

One thing I couldn't bear with it was Euris's attending doctor; who treated her in bad manner. The doctor advised Euris to admit to wad but didn't explain much about her status. Just said that her leg was in good condition and no crack but have to examine by a specialist. We thought that it was a minor injury and discharged after all. In my opinion, doctor must give a little time for patient to consider whether wanted to admit to wad because the patient has the right to know about her condition.

As I know that there will be no doctor on-duty on Sunday because I've experienced it before. The trainee doctor also admitted that specialist doctors will only be available on Monday morning. But, at last Euris could discharge after examined by another doctor and we fetched her back to Ipoh immediately. At that time was around 3:30am. A special thank you to Louise Then; who is a nurse working in Hospital Fatimah, Ipoh. She recommended Euris to see Dr. Ravi.

Lastly, all of us hope that Euris can recover soon. So, we can go for our next trip. Charlie's Angels are planning to go Genting in end of August. Chee Mun and Yee Wei will go with us too.

Actually, I found out on Nuffnang Gift Ideas Contest, to pick a gift from RealMart and deliver it to a fellow nuffnanger.

Well, RealMart really have varieties of gift for me to choose it and deliver it to my angel, Euris. Hope she will love it. haha.....yet to buy for her. Becaues her birthday is coming soon too in October.

So, I would like to deliver a gift to one of my angels, Euris. She is nuffnanger too after recomended to her to register as nuffnanger. For those who received call from this company, HBNC, please be careful. I received a call on today about winning a vacation voucher for 4 persons, may choose from different places like Kedah, Langkawi, Penang, Pahang and so on. It sounds very attractive because I won a price. But, please don't believe on what they told you. It's a scam. This company is located in Jalan Bangsar.

Actually, last year I received this call before. At last, I didn't turn up because my fatty said that may be it's a scam so better don't go over there to waste our pleasure time. Since it's a bit far from Klang to Jalan Bangsar.

The story was like this: This morning, received a call from HBNC, a gal called me up and I forgot to ask her name. Her hp no is 016-225 xxxx. She told me that I've won a price because I went shopping at Tesco, Parkson, MyDin, and so on. wow.....she can list out so many places. She explained that I've filled up a form for a competition when I spent over RM50 in a single receipt. In fact, I didn't. Suddenly, my mind recall it that this company sounds very familiar and received similiar call on last year. Then, she said anytime can come over to her office to collect the voucher. Later, she will sms the address to me.

Anyway, I'm not interested on it. Just replied to her, I'll try to make such arrangement to go over there.

Once you worked in other places, you don't have much time to contact with your juniors or get the latest information from them. Actually, I'm wondering what is their coming competition or any activities that seniors can take part for it. It's been quite sometimes that I did not go back to my secondary school to pay them a visit. Feel sorry to all teachers and juniors.

Although the British were described as latecomers in a line of Western Colonialists in Malaysia's history, they arguably left the most enduring legacy, particularly in the form of legislation and the development of George Town into a 'modern' city. Even a short gallop through the history of Penang will not be complete without mention of the arrival of the British in 1786, and the subsequent introduction of British rule in the day-to-day administration and governance of Penang.

One could conjecture that had there been no British authority in Penang, the shape and destiny of heritage conservation could have turned out to be entirely different. Shorn of British influence, the built heritage and living culture of the ethnic enclaves could very well come to the fore. Be that as it may, historical landmarks in Penang bear the inspiration of various influences. Many still stand till this day, although in the preface to the 2nd edition of Streets of George Town, the author lamented that "many heritage buildings have fallen."

George Town, the capital of the state of Penang, has one of the largest collections of 19th, and early 20th century buildings in Southeast Asia. It is a living historic city, with inner city communities, places of worship, guilds, wet market and bazaars, traditional trades and retail shops, trishaw peddlers and hawkers.

Since 1948, George Town’s heritage buildings had been protected under a Rent Control Act. A 1994 census showed that Penang had 12,453 rent control premises with 8,259 located in the heart of George Town. The repeal of Rent Control at the dawning of the new millennium has seen the transition of some tenants to other parts of Penang. However, the State Government is doing all it can to ensure that George Town’s heritage landscape and living culture will survive this transition. Getting George Town listed by Unesco as a World Heritage Site will go a long way towards this goal.

Daily, hundreds of tourists both local and foreign, visit this vast preservation of treasures in George Town, in which may be seen and enjoyed the story of Penang's man-made heritage. As the starting point of Penang's multicultural community, the inner city of George Town has many houses of worship, guilds, mosques, temples, clanhouses, district associations, sanghams and lodges which are Penang's 'open museums' of migration and cultural history. The many heritage tour guides are only too happy to reveal to the visitor the beauty and wonder, and the inspiration and spiritual meaning that lie behind each building, each community and each culture.

A nimble amble through the historical sights in George Town: the first four streets mapped out by city fathers in George Town, namely Beach Street, Light Street, Pitt Street (now Jalan Mesjid Kapitan Keling) and Chulia Street are still very much relevant and bustle with traffic everyday. Just around the corner from Beach Street lies the Colonial Quarter, where Fort Cornwallis, Esplanade, City Hall, Court-house, St. George's Church, Convent Light Street, Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, the Protestant Cemetery, and other historical buildings are situated.

A short distance away are what is described as the historic port settlements or 'ethnic enclaves' – the Little India commercial orb, Kapitan Keling mosque, Goddess of Mercy Temple, Mahamariamman Temple, Armenian Street, Acheen Street, Khoo Kongsi, King Street, Weld Quay and others.

We went to Genting to watch MY FM's 9th Anniversary Show in September 2007. Too far away from the stage, I couldn't watch it clearly enough and identify DJs' playing role. Next time must buy a binoculars and bring it to any concerts or shows.

erm......well....I'm not a supporter of MY FM.I know few of the DJs only. We got free entrance tickets from Euris because of her collegues wanted to attend someone's wedding dinner. Thank you to Euris. Hopefully can get other free entrance tickets as well.

The World Heritage Committee meeting in Quebec City has added eight new cultural sites to UNESCO’s World Heritage List on the morning of the 7 of July. With these inscriptions, Papua New Guinea and San Marino enter the World Heritage List for the first time.

The new sites inscribed are:

Melaka and George Town, historic cities of the Straits of Malacca (Malaysia) have developed over 500 years of trading and cultural exchanges between East and West in the Straits of Malacca. The influences of Asia and Europe have endowed the towns with a specific multicultural heritage that is both tangible and intangible. With its government buildings, churches, squares and fortifications, Melaka demonstrates the early stages of this history originating in the 15th-century Malay sultanate and the Portuguese and Dutch periods beginning in the early 16th century. Featuring residential and commercial buildings, George Town represents the British era from the end of the 18th century. The two towns constitute a unique architectural and cultural townscape without parallel anywhere in East and Southeast Asia.

Orientation Day.....Sabak Bernam

Yesterday was my fatty's youngest brother, Choon Soon's orientation day in Politeknik Sultan Azlan Shah, which is located in Sabak Bernam.

After having our breakfast at around 11am, my fatty suddenly suggested that wanted to go to attend his youngest brother's orientation day.

We arrived at there around 12 noon. Then, we had our lunch with his family and Choon Soon's little girlfriend. (^.^)

hurray!....my next travel station will be ......"drum drum drum"....Macau. I'm going with my 2 buddies, Euris and Joel. Total of 6 persons, include my fatty, Joel's colleague and her colleague's wife. haha....actually I've bought this ticket when Air Asia was having promotion for International flight with RM0 air fare ticket in May. oooooppppssssss......too late to announce.

erm...consider cheap because RM270 per pax, but mine is RM370. :(

urghhhhh......because they have limited seats for promotion. So, may be I'm not lucky enough. (T__T)

so........we are planning to go there for 7 days. We will try to stop at Hong Kong and Shen Zhen. Is it too rush? never mind. I have a good planner, Mr. Fatty. Can not consider the best but better than me. :D

It is my first time to go abroad with my good buddies, Euris and Joel. yeah.....Charlie's Angels are going abroad. (^.^)v

We have few missions to complete. The missions are....... to visit casino in Macau, Ocean Park in Hong Kong, shopping in Shen Zhen and more. hurray!!!

Horrible.....X allowance

Arhhhhhhhh...........since petrol price hike, my bosses keep silence on this issue. okay....fine. I didn't request for it since I always base in office. (actually, I'm doing sales & marketing) Because of one fxxxxxg boss said that he can't feel of what am I doing. So, he pulled me out and asked me to stay in office. Two bosses have been met up with customers for almost 1 month.

It's okay coz I can access to internet for the whole day. But, I've just received a breaking news from my boss. Both of them said that we are not giving fix allowance to you anymore as we will give you RM0.50 per mileage claim. gosh......!!!! They might think that RM0.50 is as big as elephant!!! Far far away from my house to work.....monthly petrol cost me around RM360. suck!!!! daily travel cost around RM18. They just said that if you want to meet up with customers, can go ahead!!! REALLY??...later will ask me what is the reason of meeting up with customers. For what purpose....bla bla bla

Both of them seem like do not know how to appreciate their staff. Once you get new business, they will assure that their products are the best and fast selling. It's not your effort to do it. (T__T) I've been working with this company for 2 years. haizz.....

I really want to strive for a new life. If not, useless to stay in this kind of office!!! Really appreciate to this kind of company and tought me a lot about what is real life and world!!!! They are spoiling my working mood.....(T__T)

Lunch time......Volcano Trip, Bali

We visited volcano; which is still alive in Bali (forgot where is it located). According to our tour guide, Rocky, he said that few hundred years ago happened once time before till now (if not mistaken). We had our lunch at Grand Puncak Sari; where it served international buffet. Our tour guide reminded us that do not buy anything from those people along the street. Because you would buy fake items.

Before we had our lunch, we took few photos as we're so excited to see volcano. Normally, we only able to watch through movie or discovery movie. finally......(^.^)v

Such a nice scene at Lake Batur. Fresh air and cold. It's like standing on Cameron Highlands. According to our tour guide, those villagers will take the soil to build house or other thing as it is quite solid. erm.....no idea about what does it call....may be some one can tell me on this. As I saw their house, it's not colourful at all especially their temple. Because it is made of those soil from volcano.

It's cold when you stand at there. gosh......I think we've asked a wrong person to help us taking our photo. haha.....(:D) Anyway, we should say thank you to Uncle, who can speak Cantonese. I think he is from Hong Kong or Guang Zhou.

This is the restaurant; where we had our lunch at here. The food was nice and tasty. You can get local Balinese Malay cuisine. It's quite similar to our local Malay cuisine. Like ayam rendang, ketupat, pisang goreng and etc. According to our tour guide, this restaurant considers as one of the famous restaurant. Because the food and rate is better than other restaurant.

As many tourists dropped by to take photo, our tour guide also let us to take few photo. Unfortunately, it started raining on that time so we had to be quick. Really took few photo........(T__T)

Credit Card Issue

Just relevant news about credit card issue. gosh....hope that petrol station in Selangor don't enforce the no-credit-card move. (T__T) Today I need to purchase petrol after my work. Please don't treat me so bad. I'm wondering who will bring so much money on road. For me, definitely no. Unless those boss level, may be they will bring much money. please.....oh.......please.......I still need to survive.....now almost end of the month. Petrol stations in Penang rescind ban on credit cards

GEORGE TOWN: Some of the 200-odd petrol stations here have started to reaccept credit cards from motorists as a method of payment after a “stand-off” of more than 15 hours.

Shell petrol station operator Seraz Ahmad, 45, said he started to accept credit card payments from motorists at his station in Jalan Mesjid Negri after being advised by the petroleum company at about noon yesterday.

Credit crunch: A handwritten sign posted on one of the pumps at a petrol station in Light Street, Penang saying cash transactions only.

“I am glad to put the matter behind me as many of my customers have complained about the move. I hope an amicable solution will be found to resolve our problem of earning less profit following the recent fuel price hike.”

A check on Penang Island also revealed that Caltex and Petronas petrol stations have started reaccepting credit card payments but not Esso and Mobil.

Mobil Stations Malaysia deputy president Roslan Jamaludin said the 20-odd stations in the state have yet to rescind their earlier decision of not accepting credit cards, as there was no directive from the Petroleum Dealers Association of Malaysia to do so.

More than 400 petrol stations in the northern region decided to enforce the no-credit-card-payment move after the association instructed its members nationwide to do so on Tuesday.

gosh......this is breaking news for credit card holders like me. Normally I use my credit cards to purchase petrol. What's going on? Since petrol price hike, my life is getting more miserable. After that, come out this statement again. Urghhhhh......I will die faster on the street!!!! What am I going to do? To pay cash in advance? No way.......I will receive my claim every earlier of the month and pay my debts for my purchases. (T__T) gosh......How am I going to make sales as I need to meet up with my clients? (T__T) My allowance is still remain as last time though petrol price hike on last two weeks. haizzzz.........oh....my dream will be destroyed....(T__T)......

Credit card refusal draws ire

GEORGE TOWN: Motorists here are fuming over the sudden move by petrol stations here as well as Kedah and Perlis to refuse payment by credit and fleet cards.

The decision was made following a meeting in Butterworth at 3.30pm yesterday to discuss a circular by the Petroleum Dealers Association of Malaysia, which had sent out a notice to 3,200 members nationwide advising them to refuse all cards.

More than 400 stations in the northern region decided to enforce the move and started refusing the payment from midnight.

In the meeting, Mobil Stations Malaysia deputy president Roslan Jamaludin said petrol station operators could no longer shoulder the burden of the card charges.

Sorry, no credit: Workers informing a customer that only cash would be accepted at a petrol station in Tajung Tokong, Penang on Tuesday.

“We lose nearly 50% of our profit to card transactions. How are we going to cut costs if everyone uses cards for their purchase?” he asked.

He added that operators agreed to this “business decision” for “long-term survival” and to highlight their plight to the Government.

Motorist Zafran Zakri Mohamad, 37, said the petrol station operators should not be heartless.

“We are struggling to cope with the recent increase in fuel price. We thought we could depend on credit cards when we run out of cash.

“But now we cannot not even use credit cards. And to impose such a ruling at a time of month when most people are running out of cash is really unacceptable,” said an irate Zafran.

Car rental agent Kintan Natasuri Aziz, 40, who uses the fleet card, said the new ruling would pose much inconvenience to him, as he has to travel outstation to send and pick up cars for rental.

“We also do not carry much cash,” he said.

Another motorist, Maisarah Khairul Anuar, 27, said that if petrol station operators were unhappy with the interest imposed by the banks then they should take it up with banks.

“They should not make consumers suffer,” she said.

Ryan Tang, 31, a graphic designer, said it was not right to immediately implement such decision without giving prior notice to customers.

“What if we run out of petrol after midnight when the ATMs are closed and we cannot withdraw money?” said Tang.

After whole day snorkelling, it's time to have our dinner. We decided to have our dinner at "warong kopi" instead of BBQ dinner at Berjaya Beach Resort. Because the BBQ dinner will cost RM73 per pax. erm....We rather to have simple dinner. Lastly, the dinner cost about RM85.

This beach becomes famous because of one movie took screen from here and after the movie on screen. Leading actor for this movie were Richie Yen and Sammi Cheng. Besides, Malaysian actors were Ah Niu （阿牛）, Micheal Wong （光良）and so on. I couldn't remember their name. (:P) I think this movie was last few years ago. This movie was about a romantic love story.

At last, we spent 10 - 20 mins to take photo because the wave was getting stronger and our captain told us that do not leave here too long. Anyway, I would like to say thank you to our captain. Without his help to take my camera and pass to fatty, we're unable to take photo. Well, he is a great swimmer and good captain.

Unfortunately, we're unable to see sea turtle and snorkelling after Laguna Beach. Because the wave was getting stronger and our captain scared that we're unable to go back. So, we just dropped by and tried to see sea turtle on boat. haizzzz.........

erm.....if you plan to come to Redang Island and want to have snorkelling trip, you may find a boat and a captain directly from jetty. We've asked the captain about how much to rent a boat. He said around RM600 - RM700. But, our snorkelling trip is RM150 per pax x 7 pax = RM1050. Finally, we able to get RM50 discount from agent. So, total is RM1000. We had a nice snorkelling trip in Redang.

A group of 7 people went to Redang on 13 June 2008. It's 3 days 2 nights trip, organised by Eong and Lin Hui. Both of them are good tour leader. (^.^)

oopss....i was not in the picture. (:p) Total of 7 persons went for this Redang trip. Eong (tour leader), Lin Hui (leader's wife), Soon, Yee Wei, Weng, Ivan and I went for this trip. Well, it was such a nice trip.

We went to Berjaya Beach Resort to have a late evening swim as that time was around 5pm. erm....the beach is nice and the sand is soft. Hardly to find any "death" corals on beach. erm.....not like Marine Park. Nice to have a walk at there. We do have a nice snorkelling at Berjaya Beach. It has an own platform for swimmers to take a rest at there. And we're able to see a lot of fish at there. wow...... It was my first time to see a huge group of big and small fish. Feel pity that unable to take underwater photo. (:'(

Fatty and Weng had a lucky day on 1st day snorkelling at Berjaya Beach because they found "gold". Weng was the first person to find 2 pcs of RM1 notes while snorkelling. Then, fatty found 2 pcs of RM10 notes while finding Yee Wei's google. Total found RM23. Such a lucky day for us!!!

The corals are pretty. But, the most scary coral in Pulau Piku. The corals are like giant. Sooooo big enough. I was able to see Nemo Fish under the sea. Really so small and cute. According to Lin Hui, Nemo fish is staying in green coral like grass coral. Pity that do not have camera to take photo. haizzzz...........

The most terrible beach is Marine Park because there are many death corals. And corals are quite near to the beach that many people easy to step on it. But, that place is for beginner to learn snorkelling. It's so easy to learn as long as you know how to use the google. And must wear life jacket for safety purposes!

I like snorkelling as I can see a lot of colourful fish under seawater. It's very funny to see a fish biting the coral and can hear its sound while biting the coral. erm.....it's so memorable.

Not Your Average Super Hero

Hancock will be screened on cinema on 3rd July 2008. Do not miss this fantastic movie! The lead actor is Will Smith. There are heroes, there are superheroes and then there's Hancock.

What do you think about a superhero will be? Like a Superman or Ironman? Do you believe that we can have a real superhero in our reality world or our life? For me, yes. My superhero is my mom (also can be considered as superhero though she is woman). (:D) Well, she is good in everything and save my life since I was baby.

This is a real story from my mom about saving my life. When I was baby around 5 or 6 moths old, my eldest brother accidentally to put a sweet inside my mouth. Because at that time I was crying so he was annoying to listen my crying. Later few second, I was silence because I was choke. My mom did not heard my crying so she was wondering why suddenly so quiet. Then, she came to me and quickly hang me up to take out the sweet. For your information, please do not use your finger to take out the sweet as it will deeper and deeper. Finally, my mom save my little life and scolded my eldest brother for being foolish of giving me sweet to keep silence.

Another story was about the incident in Penang around 1980s, I really can't remember when was it. It's about the jetty incident. Whole family went to Penang for praying to pray for a safety life in future. At that time, we're waiting for a ferry in Penang to return back to Butterworth after we've missed the ferry. I was quite young, around 5 or 6 years old, if not mistaken, always looked around because I was curious that why got so many people around here. It was so crowded in jetty while waiting for another ferry. So, my mom hold me up that won't lose me. Luckily, we're successful to get in the ferry. After few seconds, the jetty was falling down once we're on the ferry. All people were shocked. I couldn't remember how many people were died. Again, my mom save my little life and my eldest brother. Without her, we couldn't get into the ferry.

Well, my mom is my superhero in my life as she saved my life twice. Mummy, I love you forever. I wish I could be your superhero in future. (^.^)

Lunch in Pulau Perhentian

One of our tour member, Yee Wei recommended us to go Ding Dong stall to have our lunch, which is located in food court of China Town.

Ding Dong stall is specialized in fried cooking. Not bad to have our lunch at there. Though it is an open air food court, it is not too hot to sit underneath trees.

At last we arrived at Berjaya Spa Hotel. reception counter......service is terrible......no standard.....still acceptable

gosh....no remote control.....controlled by your own finger (O.O) The TV is without any remote control. (:D).....We have to press 40 times then only able to choose the program. (!@#$%^&*) Kettle is not working as well. haizzz...........

gosh......even the shuttle service to Beach Resort also limited.....It's very inconvenient to all guests like us, where we stayed at Berjaya Spa Hotel. The most terrible thing was.....no shuttle service to fetch us to our room when we arrived at there. The staff told us to wait....wait...wait!!! At last.....walk walk walk.......wth.....

We could see many "cakes" on the road. Well, may be they think that it's natural scene. For us, is horrible scene in this kind of Spa Hotel. urghhhh..........

I really can't imagine that a kind of Spa Hotel do not have any wine opener. omg!!! Even a knife or hammer also do not have it. Eong called to receptionist and asked for it but she replied that do not have any wine opener, even hammer or knife.

Member of Berjaya Vacation Club needs to stay at Berjaya Spa Hotel instead of Berjaya Beach Resort. haizzzz.........Considering to cancel membership. Wasting money to pay for yearly maintenance fees.

Bad & First experience......Malaysia Airlines (MAS)

5-star flight?

can you believe that this is a 5-star flight? my gosh........

A group of 7 people were late for 10:30am ferry to Redang because of this 5-star flight with 0 fares promotion. my gosh.....what kind of 5-star flight? First time experience....bad impression....even worse than Air Asia; which it is not a 5-star flight. Our flight was going to Kuala Terengganu. It's no doubt that the service provided is better than Air Asia and the stewardesses are more pretty than "A.A". (^__^) Air ticket fees is RM152 per pax.

He was our tour leader for this Redang tour, Eong, who was frustrating to wait for another aircraft. MAS was spoiling our vacation mood. Urghhh..... Having such a terrible and horrible experience with MAS. Could you imagine that all passengers were on board and suddenly the captain informed us that we have to change aircraft due to some fault system. Why they couldn't find any fault system before passengers on board? Such a failure preparation.....MAS...oh.....MAS......

It seems like we were so happy to wait for another aircraft. She is Lin Hui, leader's wife. Both of them are good organiser. Hope to have another trip together. (^__^) no need to worry.....since we have a good leader. (:D)

At last, we've missed the 10:30am ferry and have to take 3:00pm ferry at jetty to Berjaya Beach Resort. my gosh.......our flight arrived at around 11:00am.......we're late for 30mins then we needed to wait for another 4 hours. What should we do? haizzzz...... Then, we went to China Town to have our lunch, which is located in Kuala Terengganu. It's not far from jetty.

MAS.....oh.....MAS......please well prepared everything before departure.......because of you.....we're late...........(:'(

Even we back from Kuala Terenngganu also facing the same problem. We needed to wait for 5 - 15 mins on the aircraft then only can depart because of fault system again. I was not sure whether was air-cond problem or other. I'm wondering whether is every time also be the same? Anybody can tell me on this? ....luckily, we're landed safely......to KLIA.

When we arrived at jetty, we went to Pasar Besar Kedai Payang, where is quite near to jetty. Just few hundred metres away. As we were searching for food to eat, I was surprise to see "telur penyu", which is selling in market. It's seem like quite common to local people.

Not because of MAS, I was unable to see "telur penyu". Whether wanna say thank you to MAS or .........blah blah blah.......(*__*)

First Flight to Bangkok

I was so excited to take my first flight in LCCT by Air Asia. It was in February, 2006. It was to celebrate my fatty's birthday in Bangkok. We spent 3 days and 2 night. We stayed at Baiyoke Sky Hotel. It is Thailand's tallest hotel, rising 88 storey above the Bangkok skyline, strategically located in the heart of downtown, surrounded by bustling market and entertainment attractions, within easy walking distance to major shopping centres: Central World Plaza, Gaysorn Plaza, Peninsula Plaza, Amarin Plaza, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Square, MBK Center and many more and for all day long shopping spree, free shuttle van service between Baiyoke Sky Hotel - Siam Discovery.

Our first destination is Siam Square. Such a nice environment. Look at my behind, such a nice fountain. erm......I think KLCC got one.....

It seems like they have so many events. May be the 106.5FM was celebrating some kind of anniversary. It was crowded and happening event.

The most impressed places are "Wat". There are so many temples, no matter small or big. Most of them are very elegant and impressive. Mostly have own history like ex-king stayed there before as palace. So, some of them become historical places. For visitors are not advisable to wear sleeveless shirt and short pant. Because it is scared place. Visitors must show their respect.

Some of the temples need to pay entrance fees. Around 10 baht persons. May be my information is incorrect due to few years ago. (:p) There will be have English-speaking story teller. You will have a map when you pay for entrance fees. Like Grand Palace, Dusit Palace. You may spend few hours to visit those palace.

erm.......about communication with local people. Some of them may understand English. There is no difficulty for us to find food to eat. haha....(:D) I like to eat local food like hawker stall. But, I did not take any precaution like injection Hepatitis A. I think I should take an injection for this in order to protect my liver. Well, the food consider nice and varieties. Cooking is different from us. Like char kway teow, they did not put drying oil. So, it looked like original kway teow. For me, it's a bit juicy and tasty. The love to put dried chillies instead of chillies sauce.

We also went to their famous floating market. Really impressive on it. Unfortunately, we took an expensive boat around 2,000 baht. My God!!! After we paid for it, we found out that the boat cost around RM200 per trip. Oh no....Well, we have no choice at all because the taxi driver took us at 1st station. May be we should say we need cheapest ride. Haizzzz............The market is really crowded as you can see

from the scene. If you need to stop at certain shop, you may tell to your driver to stop there. But, the driver prefer to stop at the shop with good relationship because he may earn extra commission on selling products. I think so. May be it's not. (:p) We go shopping usually by foot where as floating market is by boat.

The driver will stop in front of the shop and the shopkeepers will show you all attractive and interesting products. They try to promote their products. Both of us are not good in bargaining so we've bought some items which are quite expensive. (:D) At least, we've gained some experience. We also tried for the soup noodle. My fatty also said it nice and delicious. We ate our food on boat. yummy yummy.....

Due to time constraint, we were unable to go to Chatuja Market; which is famous in Thailand. This market is quite special and open during weekend only. We've missed this place.

It's Jim Thompson, house museum. We didn't enter this museum because it did not open for visiting on that morning. End up, we just took a photo in front of it.

We did not take much photo due to space constraint on digital camera. (:$) I borrowed digital camera from my company. At last, we only took around 50 pcs photo. haizz.......

Rebate.....can it be lessening our burden?

Do you think that the rebate can reduce our burden? RM625 per year. Not enough for those sales & marketing persons. Because they travel a lot. Some of sales persons need to pay for their own petrol.

From now on, I need to plan for my schedule and road plan in order to avoid wasting my petrol. (T__T) Once I go to incorrect road in KL, I have difficulty to return back. So, I have to plan well before I go out and meet up my customers. (^__^) A smart way to save petrol. :D

Recently talking about petrol issue. Once petrol hike, everything also will be affected. Especially transport service company. But, (T__T).......my salary is not affected......(T__T)......why? why? why? tell me why? Even my boss would not talk about this issue......haha.....how smart they are? Both of them keep silence about petrol hike. Then, my salary also be silence....SHhhhh.......

Rebates for vehicle owners from Saturday

PUTRAJAYA: Those who renewed their road tax in April and May and are eligible for cash rebates can get the payment from all post offices beginning Saturday.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said although the Government had announced that cash rebates could only be collected beginning July 1, it had decided to bring forward the date.

“This is because we want to ease the burden of the rakyat. Detailed information on the actual procedure will be announced soon,” he told reporters after chairing the first National Inflation Council meeting at his office here yesterday.

On June 4, Abdullah had announced the new fuel price of RM2.70 a litre for petrol and RM2.58 a litre for diesel.

In line with this, private vehicles of engine capacity of 2,000cc and below will enjoy a RM625 rebate, which will be paid to them upon renewal of their road tax.

Private pickup trucks and jeeps with engine capacity of 2,500cc and below will also receive the rebate. Owners of motorcycles of 250cc and below are eligible for a RM150 rebate.

Abdullah said the meeting had also decided to increase the quota of subsidised diesel that public transport companies could buy.

“The companies have been given fleet cards to continue buying diesel at the old price of RM1.43 a litre. We have also agreed to expand the list of vehicles eligible for diesel subsidy to include factory buses and taxis using petrol.

“We are also extending the coverage of our social safety net by considering the increase of several allowances.

“The threshold of income will be raised so more Malaysians can benefit,” he said, adding that more announcements would follow.

Asked if the price of fuel would remain until next March, Abdullah replied that crude oil prices in the global market were rising too quickly.

“There are so many things we have to consider so I don’t think I will say anything now,” he said.

Life will be more Miserable

My lovely country, Malaysia is producing petroleum but citizens are not eligible to get low rate compare with those countries as shown in above. We are paying RM2.70 from 5th June 2008. Before that, the selling price for petrol was RM1.92 per litre. Now, petrol price hike up to 41%. (T__T) Our life will be more miserable. (T__T)

I have to re-arrange my plan for the next few months because of this shocking news. What can you imagine that the life is without shopping, watching movie, singing, dancing and etc! May be you might say that this is not worst situation that we are facing. We still can survive without these gorgeous life but we must use to it ever and ever. Well, these are not my part of life because I seldom go shopping, singing and dancing.

I love watching movie. Then, I have to wake up early in the morning especially on Sunday to enjoy early bird privilege. Oh my god! Even on Sunday also need to wake up earlier. (T__T)

China quake: Death toll expected to rise

BEIJING: The 7.8 magnitude earthquake that rocked southwestern China Monday morning and was felt all the way in Bangkok may see tens of thousands dead.

China's state-run news agency Xinhua said in a news flash that between 3,000 to 5,000 people were feared dead in Sichuan Province's Beichuan country, which was nears the epicentre of Wenchuan County.

Wenchuan is about 145km west of Chengdu, the densely populated provincial capital.

Earlier, Xinhua quoted China's Ministry of Civil Affairs as saying the strong tremor killed at least 107 people in Sichuan's Chengdu, neighbouring Chongqing, Gansu and Yunnan provinces. Up to 900 teenagers were trapped as their middle school buildings in Dujiangyan, suburban Chengdu, partly collapsed. Rescuers were seen on TV using cranes to move away cement and steel structures.

China President Hu Jintao, back from a five-day visit to Japan, has ordered prompt rescue efforts to take care of the affected. Premier Wen Jiaobao cut short his inspection trip in central Henan Privnce and has flown to Chengdu to lead government rescue efforts.

More than 5,000 members of the armed forces and 3,000 policemen have also been rushed to Wenchuan and surrounding areas to spearhead rescue efforts.

Wen told reporters during his flight to Sichuan that the central government is closely monitoring the disaster relief work.

"I will be in charge of relief work headquarters that has been set up with eight State Council departments," Wen said.

Reporters in Juyuan town, about 60 miles from the epicentre, said that they saw trapped teenagers struggling to break loose from underneath the rubble of the three-story building "while others were crying out for help."

Two female students were quoted as saying they escaped because they had "run faster than others."

Many residents in Chengdu and elsewhere near Sichuan are expected to stay out-doors or in makeshift beds, as they fear more follow-up quakes and aftershocks.

Quake felt nationwide

In Beijing's financial district, many workers poured out from their buildings but there were no visible signs of damage. The subway system was unaffected.

"People were shouting 'get out, get out', so we all ran out of our dorm," said a student from a university in nearby Chongqing.

Reporters in many other parts of China also reported tremors.

The telecom networks in Chengdu and Chongqing were down for a while after the quake, cutting off all communications.

The quake was also felt in Zhengzhou, capital of central Henan Province, where people rushed out of homes and offices and took to the streets.

Petrol price up by 78 sen - and will be reviewed monthly

PUTRAJAYA: The Government announced yesterday an increase in petrol and diesel prices, stating that it can no longer continue to subsidise fuel.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said the new prices were still at a 30-sen per litre discount from market prices.

In other words, if the market price is RM3 per litre, Malaysians will be charged RM2.70 at the pump. He said the price would be adjusted monthly based on the global oil price.

“Malaysians still pay lower than the market prices as far as petrol is concerned,” he told a packed press conference when announcing the restructuring of the subsidy package.

Abdullah said that although the restructuring would result in consumers having to pay more, prices were still lower compared with Singapore and Thailand.

He said the Government would save RM13.7bil through the restructuring.

From the savings, he said RM4bil would go to the National Food Supply Guarantee Policy, RM1.5bil for subsidising cooking oil and RM400mil to subsidise rice imports to make the price uniform in peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak.

The Government would also spend RM200mil on flour subsidy, RM100mil on bread subsidy and RM7.5bil was meant for contributions to the subsidies for petrol, diesel and gas.

On top of that, Abdullah said, the Government would have to fork out RM5bil to pay to owners of cars and motorcycles eligible for rebates introduced under the restructuring of subsidy package.

“Our effort is certainly not an attempt to be popular but we try our best to help the people. We cannot satisfy everyone,” he said.

Abdullah said demand for public transport would go up with the rise in fuel prices and the Government was currently addressing the need to improve services.

He reiterated that the public should make changes to their lifestyle, saying they must ensure there was no wastage in resources such as water, energy and food.

He said if certain adjustments were made, the public would not be “too badly affected by price increases”.

He said the hike in fuel prices would cause a projected increase in inflation of around 4% to 5%. It would also have an impact on the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) growth but was confident that it could be maintained at 5% this year.

Abdullah said the Cabinet committee on anti-inflation had to come up with a system to ease the public’s burden from higher fuel prices.

“What is important is that we want to ensure the restructuring will encompass a mechanism that will protect and benefit those in the lower and middle income group.

“We are truly committed in ensuring these groups will not be burdened by the increase in petrol and food prices,” he said.

Asked if the subsidy restructuring would result in Malaysians going to the streets to demonstrate their unhappiness, Abdullah was confident the people would not resort to that.

First time to oversea........Hatyai

I'm so excited and expected to Hatyai with my friends. Ivan, Euris, Sook Yee, Jeffery, Mandy and I together went to Hatyai in February 2006. It's my fist time to oversea though it's quite near to my country. I've never been there before. Anyway, I won't forget this sweet memory with my friends together as it was my first time to go oversea with them.

From the beginning, I wish to go to Hatyai because of "Tiger Show". It's a kind of show for adults. We able to watch it but it's not a real "Tiger Show" what we want at all. Feeling like being cheated by the agent. He said that this show is banned from government to public. At that moment, my emotion like falling in to "hell". Oh, no!!! I could not watch this show in my life. I'm not trying to say that I love to watch this kind of show. It's just that I heard from my friends and they recommend me to go for it. Anyway, we went for "Ah Gua Show". It's such a nice show and you could not miss it. The food is ready before the show. The food is tasty and delicious especially Thai famous cuisine, Tom Yam. You have to try on it.

We were so happy after shopping. You can try on mango rice. It's juicy and tasty food. Don't forget to try on coconut drink. We also visited local temple before shopping. Hope to have a safety and wonderful journey.

erm.....We really do not understand what does it say but we wish to take a photo as our memory. At least, we've been to Hatyai. :D

Balinese Dance - Barong Dance

It is my 5th time travel to other South East Asia countries. It is my first time to Bali, Indonesia. It is an ideal place to have a vacation here because of the pleasant scenery. Few years ago, I eager to go this place because of the Korean drama, ‘Memories of Bali’. Finally, I make my wish come true. So do you.

We stayed in Seminyak Suites; which is located in Seminyak. We stayed 4 days 3 nights at there. Such a nice and peace environment but the transport is not convenient. Because we are not staying in town. However, the service is not up to our expectation. The food considers nice but it is not tasty as Malaysian food. As one of the waitresses from Reflections Lounge Bar & Restaurant told us, he has been working in Malaysia for few years. He agrees that Malaysian food is tasty and delicious than Bali.

We engaged with a local tour guide, Mr. Rocky Roo. He is an English speaking driver. The cost is USD110 for 3 days tours. He is such a nice guy and explains history of Bali to us. However, our Bahasa Melayu is different from them. But, we still can manage to understand and communicate with him in Bahasa Melayu. Our first visit is Balinese Dance, Barong and Kris Dance at Denpasar. It talks about history in Bali. Entrance fee is 50,000 Rupiah per person. You have to go there earlier since I've missed the beginning of story. Four your informaiton, 90% of Balinese is Hindu.

Have you encountered any difficulty to use “yellow man” line? It’s really a "lousy" line. I’ve been using this line for almost 1 year. It can be your “modem” to access internet but you have to try it for few hours. Wasting my time to use it for accessing internet. I’m not trying to criticise on it but just hope that the “yellow man” can be improved their service. If you need it to browse internet, I don’t think it can help you much for that. May be you can consider “M” man or “X” man. Anyway, wishing you has a happy surfing internet.

U.S. adds polar bear to threatened list

The Bush administration listed the polar bear as a threatened species Wednesday, agreeing with conservationists that the bear's Arctic habitat is melting due to global warming.

That is where the agreement with conservationists ends.

"This listing will not stop global climate change or prevent any sea ice from melting," Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne said while announcing the decision. The Endangered Species Act should not be "abused to make global warming policies," he said.

Kassie Siegel, a lawyer with the Center for Biological Diversity, said the group does not accept Kempthorne's view.

The act requires federal agencies to take steps to reduce or eliminate those impacts on threatened species, she said. "There is no exemption for greenhouse gas emissions."

If the government fails to address global warming, "we can and will go to court to enforce the law," she said.

The decision comes three years after environmental groups petitioned to have the polar bear listed under the Endangered Species Act.

The listing of "threatened" means a species is at risk of becoming endangered within the foreseeable future. A species is listed as "endangered" when it is at risk of becoming extinct, according to the act.

"Although the population of polar bears has grown from 10,000 in the 1960s to 25,000 today, our scientists tell me that polar bears could become an endangered species in the next 30 years," Kempthorne said.

In an interview, Kempthorne said the next step is for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, which administers the act, to designate "critical habitat" for the polar bear, which will likely happen under the next administration. After that, a recovery plan will be developed, he said, adding that he could not provide specifics.

He said the decision to list the animals as threatened was "forced" by science and the Endangered Species Act, which he called "inflexible."

Kempthorne pointed to satellite images showing dramatic reductions in sea ice over the past decade and climate projections by the U.S. Geological Survey that the sea ice on which polar bears depend is likely to shrink more than 30% by 2050 and could all but disappear by the end of the 21st century.

Kempthorne said there is little that can be done under the Endangered Species Act that isn't already being done. The polar bear has been protected under the Marine Mammals Protection Act, which has a higher standard of protection.

The Department of Interior will issue a rule stating that anything allowed under the Marine Mammals Protection Act, including arctic oil and gas production and exploration, will be allowed under the new listing. The only exception: Polar bear hides collected in sport hunts in Canada can no longer be imported into the USA.

Reed Hopper, an attorney with the Pacific Legal Foundation, which defends property rights, says the decision "is exactly what the environmentalists have been looking for."

"It opened the door to them to create a hook to bring legal challenges to virtually any carbon-emitting activities," including livestock and energy production, and manufacturing, he said.

Kempthorne said the decision precludes such an argument. "It's not going to be up to the agency," Hopper said. "It's going to be up to the courts."

Polar Bear in Singapore Zoological Garden

Wow....so wild....but he is so cute. (i'm not sure about the gender of polar bear) He has sharp teeth and looks scary because it is endangered creatures of the Arctic. They have a thick coat of hollow hairs and a thick layer of body fat to insulate themselves against the cold. It's my first time to see real polar bear. When I visit him, he is sitting. I've been waiting for 10 minutes to see him swimming as in the picture. So, luckily to see his real face. I think I'm falling in love with polar bear. Can you imagine that you can have a warm hug from him? haha......

Today, my fatty asked me a question, when can we earn our first one million in our life? I …… My first action is too shocked to hear this since I’ve thought about this before. As everyone are wondering when can earn first one million in our life. My answer is “no idea” about this. Anyway, I’ll support him to achieve his target and my target as well. Cover Story…..unbelievable……Cover Girl....behind story

Unbelievable, I can be a Cover Girl!!!

It was unforgettable memory in my life because I was able to become a cover girl. But, it’s not good news to my family members and friends. It’s kind of bad experience in my life. Until now, I still can’t forget this incident happened to me. What had happened to me? I was attacked by a snatch thief while I’m talking with my friend, Wai, over the phone after I parked my car beside the road. I’ve heard similar incident over radio FM988, as I did not give full attention on it.

Unluckily, it happened to me at night around 8:30pm, at Bandar Permaisuri. The snatch thieves rode on motorcycle and cut my fingers by a long knife. Luckily, my hands were not broken. The thief snatched my handbag from behind. I was shocked at that time and my right hand put on the handle. Once I saw the thief, I only able to scream instead of asking for help at that moment. When he seeing my hand on the handle and seems like won’t let him go, he chop my hand straight away. At that moment, I thought it was a rod instead of a long knife. I’ve screamed twice at that moment but no one is coming to help. My mind was stuck and couldn’t figure out what is happening.

So, I let go my right hand after my second scream. I quickly picked up my phone and called for help from my friend, Yee Wei. He is watching World Cup Match in his friend’s apartment. Then, it came out two guys to help me to stop my fingers from bleeding. I only know that my hand was chopped by the snatch thief. I was shivering and crying because of too frightened. Later, a lady came to ask me whether I was robbed by the thief while I am waiting for my friend. I nodded.

The lady, Kim Jie, quickly sent me to nearest hospital, which is Hospital University Kebangsaan. When I arrived at there, the nurse tried to open up my hand. I was damn scared because of pain and kept on crying. So, I waited for doctor to examine my wound and admitted to hospital. I waited until tomorrow morning to do surgery because most of my tendon was cut. It took around 4 hours surgery.

Anyway, it’s kind of good and bad experience in my life that I’ll be cautioned all the time. For those gals, please be cautioned all the time. Don't let any scar on your body.

Terrible …..task…..job……

Sometimes feeling bored to work in this environment since my “big” boss joined to our “family”. It’s just difficult to work and communicate with him. He just keeps on saying that you must have mentality of becoming boss or you totally don’t have any mentality of becoming boss. Will you upset when you are hearing these words from your boss? If I am able to become a boss, I won’t work at there and learn from there. What a nuisance that boss is!!!

Two ex-colleagues left this “family” within 15 months. Both of them are unable to tolerate his pressure. Because he keeps on pushing them and scolding them early in the morning. Sometimes I felt annoying in office especially hearing his voice. I wish to have a peaceful place.

He becomes my favourite korean idol, I think he is more handsome than Rain though he is too slim. His height is 186cm and weight is 72kg.
